  • "Charming piece of art"
    on by Robot-user

    Pros 1.Useful QWERTY keyboard
    2. Despite the slow processor, it was snappy experience
    3. Value for money
    4. Its cheap but it has all the connection namely bluetooth, wifi and gps!
    5. Fast boot-up (as compare to SE X10 An 2.1)

    Cons 1. Low res screen
    2. Only one Indicating light colour
    3. Heat on the back when using data for long period of downloading
    4. Some apps does not support landscape (yet)

Summary I got this phone for SGD$199 with no contract. It was not sold by any local telco anyway. I shortlisted some budget phone to replace my secondary phone. They were Nokia C1-00, SE Cedar and Samsung Chat. I made an instant decision to buy when I saw this phone was listed "while stock last". I did not regret it even later I found out about Samsung Galaxy Pro because their keyboard has lesser keys.

The experience so far was pleasant. Interestingly that I felt SE X10 was laggy than Moto Charm. Although the screen was not fantastic but it does work perfectly smooth. Don't expect this phone to work wonders too as the price I paid.

The battery performance was quite satifying for me so far, about more than 10hrs.
    I do:
    1. Use internet sufing during my travelling to work
    2. Play a few games
    3. Updating apps, facebook, etc.
    4. Whatsapp-ing
    5. SMS-ing
    6. Check calender

How do I keep the batt last longer:
    1. Turn off bluetooth
    2. Turn off GPS
    3. Turn off Wifi
    4. Do not use live wallpaper
    5. Screen brightness kept at 30%
    6. Turn off all haptic feedback (meaning short vibration for touching and action on the screen)
    7. Turn off sound for touching screen

To conclude, this is a phone that worth your money to get. I encouraged people who are looking for a low price phone or a back up, this could be one of your list to purchase.

  • "Great design and functions very well."
    on by latoyamonique22

Pros Love the size of the phone, can't beat the touch screen and keyboard in one, functions very well, a big plus are the 5 homescreens that you can customize to fit your personality, and in all the phone offers a lot.

Cons All touchscreens have its little freeze ups on the screen...so I marked off half a star for that, but not a big deal because it hasn't happened too much on this phone. Also, the display isnt all perfet but its decent.

Summary The Motorola Charm has been my first touchscreen..I chose it because I refuse to do a touchscreen without a full keyboard. In all, I feel this phone had great features..I love the track pad on the back, the look of the phone, and I feel it is an awesome phone for an affordable price.

  • "This is a great phone for anyone!"
    on by jrlenig

Pros easy to use and great starter for anyone not app or super tech savy!

Cons the owner's manual is really not helpful had to find most help online or through trial and error

Summary This phone fits my busy lifestyle and has all of the convenience of some of the pricier more complicated smart phones!

  • "easy customer friendly use for internet and messaging."
    on by 12051205j

Pros touch screen control no glitches and stable keyboard query.

    Cons battery life.

Summary The charm is definitely a quick and easy smartphone. Touch screen accessible. Key board query has a blackberry style which makes texting, emailing etc...fast and error free messaging low. Only downsize is the battery life, not as long as most phones if you are a constant user. Love the phone. It actually catches the eye of the IT tech guys with flat style and no heavy bulk weight.
