Pros This phone has the option of telling you who is calling, associates a picture with the name of your contact. Has speaker - when the screen works, and takes good pictures.
Cons I cannot get to my voicemails because the screen cannot detect when to turn on. The "buttons" move like molasses, and most of the time it gets backed up and doesnt catch all the areas you select.
Summary This is the worst phone I have ever used as far as the functions. If the phone was fully operable, it would be a decent phone because of its features, but I will never go with an all-touch screen phone again. I am switching to my old phone as soon as possible.
Pros *Good Camera Quality
Cons *Slow Touchscreen
Summary ******IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A GOOD TOUCHSCREEN PHONE WITH ALL THE SAME FEATURES AS THIS, GET THE MOTOROLA MESSENGER R630. ITS CHEAPER, HAS MORE OPTIONS, AND HAS SLIDING QWERTY KEYPAD, AND ACTUally works!******
I have Had this phone for about 7 monthes, and want to literally "crush" this phone!! if your hands are wet, cold or sweaty, you can not answer calls
or do anything until your hands are dry and warm.
One thing i like to do is text, and i like to text fast!! :D
This phone does not let you do that.
After a good 5 monthes of use the keypad does not work well
at all... You can not change your picture color to black and white or anything.
The touchscreen is very slow and at times does not work at all
and you have to shut it off and then turn it back on to
refresh it. It just gets very aggrivating!!
I am advising you not to get this phone!!
Well, Your welcomeeee!!! :D
Pros The sound from the speakers are great and the camera takes decent photos.
Cons Touch feature not as responsive as I'd like. Can't turn off the haptic feedback. Navigating the menus simply by touch is troublesome at best.
Summary The Crush is a horrible phone, whether it's the only touch screen you can get without a data plan or not. Avoid the phone at any cost.
Pros Touch screen is about the only thing this crap phone has going for it
Cons 1. Terrible scrolling
2. word correction in text messages is HORRENDOUS! changes words for no reason!!
3. Sensor on the phone used to detect when the phone is near your face breaks easily, making it impossible to check your voicemail from the phone
Summary If you have ANY other options, get that phone! Avoid this brick at all costs. If I could go back, I would have rather gotten the penny phone, but now I'm stuck with this chunk of junk for two years! terrible mistake!!
Pros Affordable touchscreen phone that does not require a data plan
Cons Blue screen of death, spontaneous dialing, noncustomizable and clunky interface
Summary My girlfriend got this phone based on use in the US Cell store. On getting it home, she had several BSOD, spontaneously dialing, spontaneously turning on and off, and intermittent responsiveness to the touch screen. It went back to them, and on returning it the tech people said, "Yeah, we've had a lot of them do that".
How did this make it to market? She got two of them and they BOTH did the same thing! The fact that US Cell tech support noted it was bad is also a warning sign. Look, I don't mind the Motorola staff coming on here and saying how great this product is, and being from Chicago I desperately want Motorola to recapture the market share it self-destroyed in the cell phone market over the past decade. But this dog isn't going to cut it. Instead, she went for their clamshell phone with the military grade components inside. Clunky, but awesome reception and sturdy as heck and waterproof!!
One last item- usability and customizability of the Crush is ZERO. You are stuck with a clunky interface with little hope of upgrade.
