"Not a mobile device if it's plugged in all the time"0.5 starson by Mister_W
Pros: A couple of useful apps.
Cons: Battery life is less than a day, even it it's not used.
Touchscreen menu buttons are easy to touch accidentally, ending whatever application was running.
Summary: The battery life is abysmal. I'm lucky to get 16 hours on a charge, even if it's not used, or 12 hours if I use this device. The Verizon store people are worthless - I've complained about it twice but the response has been that "None of the smart phone batteries last more than a day." I have charged it up, forgotten to bring it to work, and gotten home to find that the battery is dead.
The Android system is nothing to get excited about. When my contract is up I will definitely look at other devices or carriers. Most of the people I work with have cheaper Blackberry devices that they are very happy with.
My favorite apps are Vcast Song ID and the free Weatherbug app. The Vcast Song ID has about a 90% success rate in identifying songs that I don't know. The Weatherbug takes a while to load but has a good radar weather screen that comes in handy when you're outdoors.
