Pros: I pretty much like everything except the "cons" I noted. Easy to hold, nice screen and resolution.

Cons: +Irritating, annoying, impossible-to-turn off notification sound and flashing light.

    +Difficult to find settings.

+Uploads address book as default setting.

Summary: Background: This is my first smart phone. I am still learning to use it, and so I can't complain about things that are likely user incompetence. I am enjoying it for the most part, but the constant notification sound and blinking light are driving me nuts.

I have used the settings options, searched online forums, turned all the email and Facebook notifications to off multiple times. I still get the sounds. Sometimes there isn't even a notification, just the sound. Judging by the number of forums that discuss this issue, this is a problem that most users have.

It is very hard to find the settings as well. Yes, there is a "settings" option, but you don't always access the settings for an app that way, and all the settings don't seem to be in the same location.

I also do not like that the default setting when you install an existing email account is to upload all your contacts. I didn't catch that and didn't uncheck it, so now I have all these contact from Yahoo! that just take up space. They are useless to have in my phone for a number of reasons. They can be hidden, but still, it is intrusive and wasteful.

Other than those three issues, I am really enjoying this phone. It fits easily in my pocket and hand. When composing text messages, options come up to complete a word. I like that it isn't auto complete, but I can easily choose what I want. Adding new entries is easy, too.

It's just that darn ding-dong tone that knocks off a star.

You can turn off the notification sound lol but if you don't like the flashing light then go back to a basic phone.
