Pros Battery life, Smart Actions, respond to a call with a text without typing, and did I mention the battery? Wow.
Cons The camera isn't as fast as others, but really, I didn't buy it for the camera.
Summary I just picked mine up this week, and it is finally a steal! Battery life so long you do not even have to think about it. My wife has the iphone, and every time I discover a new feature she is impressed.
Arguably the best part is the Smart Actions. You can set the phone's behavior to be time and location specific. In a meeting? It goes silent. Low battery? It limits functions. At work? It can be set to vibrate.
With the new models out, and the subsequent drop in price, there is no better deal in smartphones right now.
Pros Long battery life.
Quick operating system.
Nice large screen.
Can hide apps and bloatware.
Cons SCREEN CRACKS FOR NO REASON.
MOBILE HOTSPOT is UNSTABLE AND WILL NOT STAY CONNECTED (even after the new Ice Cream Sandwich update).
Camera is slow and doesn't do a great job.
Summary You can buy a much nicer phone. I liked it for most things, but tried to replace a MiFi with this hotspot and that does not work. With one of three different hotspot devices, the other two work fine and this device hangs, is hard to connect, etc. Verizon said the new operating system was supposed to fix this... It did NOT. Called again today and they said they didn't know. Also, my screen and a buddy's screen both cracked for no reason. Gorrilla glass is fragile...
Pros good average mobile
Cons poor front camera. really need some good mobile for skype.
Pros Size, display
Cons Motorola as a manufacturer
Summary A great phone, nice ICS upgrade, BUT . . . . This phone comes with annoying bloatware that you can't uninstall. One culprit is MotoActv. You can't uninstall it. Period. That's a poor way to treat customers. I don't know what Motorola is thinking here. It just makes customers mad. Also, prior to my ICS upgrade, I could use Motorola's software to sync my contacts to MS Outlook. They inexplicably discontinued that feature. Again, don't know what Motorola is thinking here. It just makes customers mad. This is a great phone from a mediocre company that doesn't treat its customers very well. For $300 I don't think its unreasonable to get a great phone, with great software from a customer-focused company. They fall short, unfortunately.
"An excellent phone."on by ofader
Pros Long battery life. Great web browser. Really great to have perfect sync between Google calendar and contacts on the phone and at home computer. Seamless. Everything works well; email, browser, phone, apps. I'm happy with it.
Cons None so far.
Summary I wanted to write this because I read a lot of user reviews when shopping for an upgrade to my Blackberry Bold.Just downloaded Ice Cream Sandwich software upgrade. Was fine before; even better now! A little slicker, and the voice commands work better.
The long battery life and generally great reviews sold me. Now that I own this phone, I agree! A superb phone; everything just works well.
