"Worst phone I have owned"0.5 starson by wbvmcbing
Pros: Battery life is good, and the screen display is great.
Cons: Overheats quickly (I have owned 2 of these)
Camera isn't so great, very sensitive to any movement
Turns into a brick
Summary: So I got my first razr maxx hd in Apr of 2013 based off the sales persons recommendation. I normally don't do this, but I was tired and didn't feel like shopping too much. BIG MISTAKE! Bought one for me and one for the wife. Was told this was a durable phone (kevlar cover) and it would survive some of the trials of military life. My wife dropped the phone from her pocket and the screen shattered plus the back cover came off. Really durable. For me, the first device I had stopped responding to the play store, would cut out in a conversation and the mic would stop working, people couldn't hear me. In addition, the overheat issue was BAD! The phone would get so hot I didn't want it against my face and then it would just stop working. I reset my OS (in conjunction with Verizon tech support) and within a week, the phone bricked on me. I went to Verizon and they told me I could send the phone to motorola for a new one or get a certified like new (used) phone. I opted for the certified like new and wouldn't you know, 2 months after I got it, this device is doing the SAME thing. Plus, while I was talking to tech support tonight, the guy asked me why I was squeaking in his ear. We both laughed but there you have it...if you want some good advice, don't buy this phone, it has been the biggest trial I have had as a tech-geek.
