Pros: Packs a lot into a very solid, quality package. Screen is enormous and the bezel is smaller than the previous Raxr Maxx. Totally flat back; overall high-end design. Powers up very quickly; 'Smart Actions' Motorola software could be useful.
Cons: Froze once already - had to hit side buttons to restart. Not sure why the Maxx HD is $100 more than the non-Maxx HD. I don't need the 32GB memory, just the extra battery life. Camera definitely could use some help - maybe software will help?
Summary: Very happy with phone overall thus far, but in full disclosure I was coming from a Droid X so I probably would have been happy with anything released since 2010.Used this for a good 72 hours now, personal and business use. Finding more cons to add than pros, but overall am very happy with the device overall.
I'll report more after I've used the phone for a full weekend. The fact it froze up on me within the first 8 hours is concerning. At the time all I was doing was installing applications from the Play market one at a time.

Screen is enormous but the utilization of the space is very poor. Google Search on the top of every homescreen can't be removed, icons are under-sized, icon spacing is wide, pictures of those being dialed are very small. Also with the screen, the top status bar is painfully small and under-emphasized despite being loaded with crucial information. Media volume through Bluetooth does not get loud enough. Camera is really terrible, extremely hopeful software can resolve grainy-ness and persistent darkness of shots. Will try some third-party apps soon.
Battery life is legit amazing, display at 100% brightness is a sight to behold. Speed is consistently impressive.
Hasn't frozen on me a second time! Just once that first day.
