    "why no international capability???"

    by mariap1919 on October 29, 2009

    Pros: looks good......

Cons: Can someone PLEASE explain to me why a phone of this quality does not have Dual-mode functionality for world roaming capabilities??? do you think that everyone just stays in the United States???

Summary: we TRAVEL.... we TRAVEL internationally!! we need World wide access... PERIOD!! the Europeans make us look stupid when it comes to cell phone service!!!

I agree with the reviewer. They should have [at least] put the capabilities of adding a sim card into the phone for use outside the USA. There are a lot of us who travel internationally for business and we would like something like an iPhone but we don't want to switch to AT&T because their network coverage s*cks compared to Verizon's.

"sim" is Verizon-locked anyways.. how much would you pay overseas for a minute, anyways?? 2-3 $/min???

Yeah your right, I bout a lexus, and the damn thing doesnt float! How am I supposed to drive it over seas? I guess I could just ship it. And if I do ship, I bet the Navigation unit doesnt work over there. I am gonna complain to lexus for not making a World Navigation system. They should make a blackberry tour edition Lexus! I also chose to by my lexus becuase of all the helpful reviews readers left before it came out. Thanks guys!!!

if international capability is that important to you... why are you even looking at this phone. You should be choosing a phone based on the features it DOES have. Also not EVERYONE travels outside of the country regularly for business or what not. The score items get should be based on what they do have not what you wished they had. Blackberry has you covered.

i agree. for only one of your personal complaints, you should not have rated it a 2.5.

So, is it 2.5 stars because CDMA is only in half the countries of the world or ??
