"The real facts about the i930"
Pros: MP3 player, Camera, Internet, Organizer, MMS messaging
Cons: Inabilty to have your own custom ringtones per person, The phone itself is SLOW, the internet is also SLOW!!, Windows creates problems which freezes up the phone, takes about 5 minutes to start up
Summary: The i930 is cool at first but as you own it you start to notice its annoying flaws such as the constant freezing up. Too many times my phone has froze up without my knowledge and i just cannot recieve phone calls, i eventually chack my phone and realize it is froze and go to restart my phone and have to wait a good 2 minutes while it starts back up. The phone also acts like a slow running computer so openning certain programs including the camera does take a little bit of time. Although the turtle like speed of the phone itself is nothing compared to the rock erosion like speed of the internet. To perform simple actions online it will take you 10 times as long from your phone. It also has no AOL instant messeger so you have to buy it seperate for $30!!! from handango which in my opinion is bull. The i930 does have some pros though with its windows media player which turnes the phone into an mp3 player, a decent camera and an organizer with active sync so you can transer your appointments automatically everytime you plug it into your computer with microsoft outlook (but i use mozilla thunderbird). The mms messaging is also a plus. I just bought the sidekick 3 and the internet is a LOT faster, there is little or no lag from the phone itself, and no freezing up (although the sidekick deffinately has its flaws). I think overall for the high price of this phone, it is very poor. I personally am going to downgrade to the i580 because i hate this phone.
