"This is a lowsy phone. NOT recommended!"
Pros: World phone I guess? Since I don't NEED this feature, there are really no pros for me.
Cons: Where do I begin? It makes you dread making a phone call on it.
Summary: I can't believe Nextel released this phone. The interface is terrible from a human factors standpoint. The Windows software on it is already obsolete (It's from 2003) and for good reason. You have to push two or three times as many buttons as your average phone to do the same tasks. For example, to view recent calls, you gotta push "Start", and scroll through the menu to get to the recent calls option. I use this feature pretty regularly because I mostly call the same bunch of people, so this was brutal. It's pretty big, even for Nextel's flip phone standards. This wouldn't be so bad if it was more functional but it's not. It doesn't have Bluetooth built in. That's appalling on a $500.00 ($330.00 or so with a contract) phone. E-mail is worthless compared to Blackberry standards. It's slow. I mean really slow for a phone. It takes a good minute and a half to two minutes to boot up, and around 20 to 30 seconds just to change themes or wallpapers. The screen is absolutely hideous. I owned this phone for one day, and exchanged it for the LESS EXPENSIVE Motorola i870 and the screen difference is like night and day. The i870 is very good BTW.
