"Great phone from a sneaky company"
Pros: Bluetooth; e-mail; GSM
Cons: Motorola won't honor warranty
Summary: I bought this phone in November 2004 but the phone volume is inaudible requiring the use of an external headset. I paid a $150 Upcharge at BestBuy to be able to use the phone on T-Mobile's network (I would have gone with Cingular but the rumor was that T-Mobile was to get the phone).
The fix is a firmware upgrade that Motorola could offer for download but they refuse; instead the only option is to get a replacement phone which is locked to Cingular's network. Motorola refuses to provide the phone and service that they did originally. People should be aware that if you buy a Motorola phone, the phone may be defective and Motorola may not honor its warranty.
