The Bottom Line The Motorola Q Global brings an updated look and the latest Windows Mobile operating system to the messaging-centric smartphone. Though not the sexiest or sleekest device on the market, the Motorola Q9h Global is an all-around solid smartphone that offers mobile professionals good messaging, clear call quality, and GPS and HSDPA--all for a great value. As the successor to the BlackJack series, the Samsung Jack brings a fresh look and some nice feature upgrades to make it one of AT&T's more solid and affordable messaging smartphones. However, we tend to favor the Nokia E71x's design. The Motorola Karma QA1 belies its cute appearance with high-end features that put it above just an ordinary messaging phone. Despite some design issues and a couple of missing features, the Motorola Droid is the most powerful and fastest Google Android device to date. It fully embraces the openness of the Android platform and offers Verizon customers a smartphone that certainly rivals the other touch-screen devices on the market.
