"Still Loyal" on by tdsharr
Pros: Price for one. Battery life is outstanding. Phone clarity is excellent in my experience. I have had the phone for almost a year and still like it. E-mail is simple for personal use. The 6.1 upgrade greatly enhanced the interface.
Cons: Low internal memory capacity for the phone itself. Find the memory will stack up to the point that the phone locks up and needs a master reset. Has happened twice. No Wi-Fi. Windows can be choppy and sluggish.
Summary: I use the phone as my personal assistant. It will hold everything most mortals need. The internet is easy to access. I wish it had Wi-Fi for lengthy web browsing sessions. I think it goes for $99 now with a two year. That is pretty cheap for what it will do.

"I LOVE MY MOTO Q9C!" on by Crys1455
Pros: Keypad, good camera, setting options, look of the phone, feel of the phone, looks sleek and smart! Also very fun to play with!
Cons: The only improvement this phone could have is internet like the Instint.... More Graphics with desktop versions of websites.... the Moto Q9c only supports mobile sites but other than that no other cns I can think of since Windows Mobile 6.1!
Summary: I absolutely love my Moto Q9c. Aside from some quirks in the beginning this phone has turned into something I dont plan on getting rid of anytime in the future. Ive had the Moto Q9c for about a year now and now with the Windows Mobile 6.1 Software this phone is absolutely incredible. The only issue ive had is the keybads paint being scratched off because I use my phone wayyy too much.
The keypad~ So easy to type on, the feel of the keypad I just adore! The size~ I feel like I have a REAL phone in my hand. The look~ Its so sleek & Stylish and Smart looking. Settings~ you can set different ringers to everything (text, phone, email, alarms etc) so many different home screens, u can set pictures as your homescreen, you can lock your device so easily simply by pushing the home icon then the space bar, you can either lock the keypad with no password or create a secret password so all your data is safe, the Sprint Navigation is impecable! Turn by turn directions with a moving 3D map! Youll never be lost. And Threaded Text messages~ Like your own personal chat room or IM, No need for instant messenger anymore! You can set your device to different profiles..... Vibrate, Normal and Outdoor for when you use your phone as an alarm (im guilty of that) and you need it a little louder than normal. The ease of scolling through a web page, you hit a directional arrow and hold and it moves FAST! Unlike the Lotus & Rant which I have tried out, with those phones its click click click click click ..........etc thats so tiring.... I LOVE MY MOTO Q9C! -

"Dust Under Screen sullies otherwise fine phone" on by ejevo
Pros: Nice ergonomic design, easy to use. Screen clarity is excellent... until dust leaks in.
Cons: Screen gets dust underneath it - unable to clean it and it clouds the screen.
Summary: This is a fine phone that apparently suffers a failure of the case. The clear screen that protects the LCD portion has an air leak of some sort that leads to dust accumulating between it and the LCD portion. When the device is off, it is quite noticeable as the dust is white and the screen dark. When the screen is on, it is less noticeable and just blurs portions of the screen where it is concentrated. I've found no way to remove the dust, and it just continues to accumulate. Not good. I haven't approached Verizon or Motorola about this issue yet, but I don't anticipate much sympathy on it.

"Looks good, but is junk. Fragile, fragile, fragile." on by noggin7717
Pros: Sometimes it works.
Cons: Most of the time it works unexpectedly. The battery, at least mine, might last until lunch, while under a year old. That's including periodically killing processes to extent bat-life.
Summary: This phone is extremely fragile. When I first got it, everything worked fairly well. It has, since purchase, been encased in a leather phone case, padded. No scratches. And yet it has developed problems galore. The headset indicator goes on/off at random, beeping. It turns on/off at the slightest provocation. It seems to sometimes for get what is programmed on it's short-cut keys.
