"Extremely function"
on by edclevePros Full QWERTY keyboard, very clear & readable screen, good memory, nice Motorblur widgets, easy startup on HotSpot wi-fi & Bluetooth
Cons Difficult to add/find new notification sounds. Unable to get some widgets deleted off of the screens.
Summary I am only 24 hours into using this phone but am generally quite pleased with the phone, especially with the keyboard that makes sending emails & text messages so easy. I left my Blackberry Tour a long time ago for the world of Android, but I must admit I missed the real keyboard. I have never like the slider with the keyboard that I have to use both hands to use. I feel very much like I am typing on a Blackberry again, but with a much more functional OS in Android. I was able to update the phone with all of my apps thanks to Appbrain. It has taken a bit, but there seems to be lots of memory left after downloading a LOT of apps! The social apps seem to work well, too, but I have barely touched them. The phone is fast and functional, and does all that I need it to do. I don't have time to watch TV and movies anyway - that's why I'm glad we've finally got a "business" phone!

"More than a Phone, really a business phone..."
on by RickMotosPros Excellent phone, idea for Business people and IT guys as well. I saw the full specification of this phone in Motoask .
Cons Camera is not too good
Summary Do not compare XPRT with Droid PRO, XPRT has more features and really good for business people and heavy users.

"Like the phone but overheats and shuts off."
on by dontho241Pros Like the keyboard for typing. The phone is easy to use and find things.
Cons Had the phone only a few days and it is overheating and shuts down. Not reliable. Will be going back and either exchanging and getting a different phone. Setting different sounds for different contacts seems difficult if at all possible.
Summary Not at all happy with my 1st experience with an android phone. I'm use to the Blackberry, which never had a problem. I'll give it one more try before going back.

"Better than my last phone."
on by MJCPhoto74Pros Small in size, Good touch screen keyboard,
Cons Keys get stuck, Battery life low when in 1X, youtube app with not work.
Summary I like this phone. Just a few issues. Battery life not great in 1X, manual keyboard gets stuck, Youtube app will not work. I am new to the Android world, I like all the apps that you can get and I like that messaging and texting are right at your finger tips.

"AWESOME DEVICE!!! Hurts my heart to have to return it."
on by caprice457Pros Receptive touch screen, physical keyboard, call quality, bottomless pit of apps, user interface, etc., etc., and then some!
Cons Glitchy, error message when I tried to play You Tube, overheats.
Summary I wanted to Love this phone and I did!
(This is more of an I-forgot-to-mention-a-couple-of-things update than an actual update.)
Got the phone yesterday. Had a check list of things that had to be good for me to keep it. Speaker phone: great! Call volume: great. I even had to turn it down. Alarm: good. Camera: good. Apps: Android seems to have wayyyyyyyyyyyyy more than Blackberry and that was great! Kindle app: awesome on this phone!
Things went from 1st class to coach when I tried to watch You Tube. Day one: Vids would take minutes to load. Then the screen would freeze. Next day: Vids would take minutes to load. Then, error message. Took it to local Sprint store. Rep and manager tried to get it going. Long story short, rep returned it to me and told me that it had overheated, is defected and should be returned to the Sprint store where I picked it up. The first night, when I charged it, the back of the phone did get pretty hot. I'm talkin', if I put it in my bag next to a receipt, that receipt just might go up in smoke. In my bag. Not good! In addition, the screen will sometimes turn white or just shut down when I try to activate an app. This phone also lags quite a bit.
This is only day two. o_O
Packed it up tonight(sob...sniff.) I'm afraid to try another XPRT as many of the reviews I've read about this phone, others are experiencing the same glitches and overheating, even after they've exchanged it for other XPRT's. However, that phone is a piece of lovely. There'll be an update to this review if I do decide to brave another XPRT.

Facebook! As much as I loved the XPRT, it let me down a little in that area too. It's very slow to open. Once on the main FB screen, I tried to go to my timeline. Either it would take a few minutes, or it wouldn't take my timeline at all. I tried this in several different locations; same results. A couple of times, I tried to reply to a post or update my status on the XPRT. I'd check back only to find it didn't post. As with my Blackberry 9700, once I'd click on a photo, it took a while to enlargen. Then again, with the XPRT, all I have to do is the finger thing. But, if I want the photo to come up on it's own page, yeah, took a couple of minutes or so.
Even with all of these drawbacks, I still want to give this phone another chance. *sigh* We'll see...
