"Absolutely dislike this phone!"
Pros: The possibility of using it overseas-somthing I'll never find out about first hand as I am going back to my old LGvx8300.
Cons: Very low volume-have to use spkrphone on most calls.
Summary: I replaced my LGVX8300 with this phone & I am glad I didn't buy any accessories for it as I am going back to my old phone. The battery time is lousy. Most times the phone doesn't get heavy use, but I have to charge it everyday.
Terrible standard ringtones and alarm has no snooze option.
Much prefer the flip-type phone over the slider.
The memory card is located inconveniently under the battery cover so I hardly ever remove it to download/upload pics or music to/from my computer. The side switch used to activate the speaker is the same switch used to play music-the duration of the press on the switch determines which one is acttivated. No flash of self-portrait mode with camera.
I often use the alarm feature on my cell phones & the LG's I've had usually have the snooze feature-this Moto does not. It is just 1 long, continuous ringing for 1hour if you are too lazy to get up, and the standard ringtones are awful.
I think I have good hearing, but the volume is very low. Most times even with the speakerphone on, I still have difficulty hearing. I have to keep asking the person on the other end to repeat what they said. There are times when you don't want to use the speakerphone so other people won't be privy toi your conversation, so this is a great, big inconvenience to me.
Just a horrible, horrible phone for me.
