Pros Nice little phone that has great reception and even better construction. Works as a Go Phone. Wide screen, good color, clear graphics, easy nav, customization of menus, good sound, can import MP3 and graphics and themes, responds quickly.
Cons The battery cover is hard to remove. You must push the button at the top of the back and pull back on the top of the cover at the same location to remove it. It also requires some strengh to do so. Instructions in manual are not clear.
Summary It works well. Is indestructable so far. I can access the net from it. The MP3 ringtones are clear. It offers speaker phone, clear graphics which is easy on my 50 year old eyes. I can customize my wallpaper on it also. Apps can be added as needed. Navigation is easy and you can answer the phone or messages in one button click. When on speaker phone it is loud and clear. The only con I had was getting to the battery. The directions do not show clearly you need to push down on the back button and while holding that button pull back on the top of the back near the same position to remove the cover. But said battery lasts for a long time and you have choices of connection to recharge. Does not sync to computer. No data cable and no wireless access available to allow tranfer to computer but does sync to server. No bluetooth but I could care less about that.
Pros there are still some people looking for a basic phone- here you go
Cons NO ISSUES AT ALL
Summary I understand that some people still need basic phones/or want basic phones. This phone is as simple on ATT GOPHONES as they get. Excellent phone.
Pros Excellent phone if all you want is to send and receive calls. The small size means I can slide it into the smallest pocket. I keep it on vibrate with loud ring and it goes days between charges. At $25, I do not care if it goes through the laundry.
Cons Instrution manual is terrible. But after owning at least 10 cell phone, who cares?
Summary Slim, indestructable, lightweight. Easily fits into jean pocket without ugly bulge. Always works.
Pros --Virtually indestructible
--Usable by any ATT customer with a SIM card
--Probably the highest talk time ever produced on a cellular telephone
Cons --No frills whatsoever (the phone costs 15 dollars at your local Target--you must be joking to deliver any complaint about this phone involving email, web browsing, etc.)
Summary This is a phone for people who remember the fundamental purpose of phones--to talk. If that is the only thing you want out of your phone, it simply doesn't get better than this. I get 12-14 hours of talk time out of this phone on a single charge. That is unbelievable. All the smartphones these days will do everything but mow the lawn, but I'll be darned if you can talk on them for longer than 3-3.5 hours before they die. Like the iPhone? Do what I did--buy one of these and then buy an iPod touch, and challenge someone with an iPhone to tell you what they have that you lack. Apart from 3G internet access (which people suddenly need simply because it exists--nevermind the fact that it didn't exist in its current form 5 years ago, but now everyone considers its absence a tragedy), the correct answer is nothing whatsoever. If long phone conversations are your style (say, if you travel extensively and are always a long way from people you care about), this is a godsend.
Pros Solid, reliable phone. Service and call quality are excellent.
Cons Numeric Keypad tough to navigate.
A bit slow to load basics, such as text messages.
Speakerphone is a bit soft.
Summary Simply put, this phone is for basic calling and texting, nothing more. I bought the phone because my Sony Ericson met my washing machine about 9 months into my contract. It was cheap (only $29 at Wal-Mart) and AT&T added the 150 minutes that came with my phone on to my plan. It is cheap, durable and has moderate call quality for its price. Obviously it comes with very few features, a fact which is advertised on the box. Aside from some long loads opening text messages, this phone does everything its capable of fairly well. If you need a cheap holdover and can live without the fancy features, I would highly recommend this phone.
