Pros compact, easy charging jack, camera okay, able to buy it at Wal-Mart w/out contract and plug in my SIM card
Cons poor volume, clamshell hinges flimsy and squeaky, displays hard to see, buttons stick
Summary I bought this phone for around $79 as a prepaid/pay as you go phone and simply plugged in my own SIM card. That part worked great. However, I quickly saw what a cheaply made phone it was. The volume was way too low and hinges squeaked when I tried to press the phone closer to my ear to hear. It was hard to see the main display and the outer display. When dialing, the first number I pressed would stick for 5 to 10 seconds. After two weeks, I returned the phone and got a full refund with no hassles (at Wal-Mart).
Pros easy to understand
Cons not a good phone if there is back ground noise or your hard of hearing however they seemed to include all the other bells and whistles. Strange that they should skimp on the volume control?
Pros Cheap, no buttons on side to accidently start camera, about 4 hours talk time per charge.
When there is no service, the battery doesn't drain as fast as other phones I've had.
Cons Menus and displays are very sluggish. When I call my voice mail, the first number I hit on the phone takes about 3 seconds to register
Not the best ear-speaker, I have to push the phone hard against my ear to hear well.
Summary Given that this phone is cheap ($75), the cons of this phone are not bad enough to make me go get another one.
Pros unbeatable price at $20 from T-mobile
Cons try out its built-in camera, the screen froze together with the keypad
Features a camera that freezes your cellphone every single time. Good for presenting an example of failed commercial product.
Summary Overall not impressed at all despite an unbeatable price at $20 from T-mobile. The item arrived packaged new, however after charging and powering up the Nokia 2760 to try out its built-in camera, the screen froze together with the keypad.
Menu selections such as "Options", "Capture" and "Exit" are all greyed-out and inaccessible, the screen has a wide white stripe across it and the keypad refused to respond. I thought it might start responding after I leave it alone for a while (maybe it is sorting out scheduled jobs and swapping memories? who knows?), but it still do not respond even after an hour of sitting on my desk. Quite embarrassing as my colleagues are asking me to show them Nokia 2760's camera functions after I opened up the brand new box.
New carefully packaged item arrived not entirely functional, contrary to its advertisement. Either this is a scam or Nokia is competing with Microsoft on creating BSOD with normal usage.
"Very poor quality"on by cpepper3
Cons No volume control on exterior, so you have to open phone and wait for it to register before you can silence calls, or just to show the time on the exterior. Sound quality is pretty terrible.
Summary Very disappointed in basic functions. Just wanted a phone that worked well as a phone and for texting, and the voice quality is so poor that I have a hard time hearing people and they have a hard time hearing me. Very obnoxious for phones these days, even kids toys have better quality, not worth any more than free.
