Pros Small, light, great reception, 3G & BT work very well. Tethering to PC for 3G internet access is supported and works well.
Cons Voice dial does NOT work as advertised and Nokia says "they're working on it." Also, T-Mo has restricted downloads that access the internet. i.e., Opera Mini and others will NOT work. This is a T-Mo issue as the phone itself can support it.
Summary I rarely, if ever, text so I don't miss a full keyboard. I have an Android phone but much prefer the smaller footprint and ease of use of the 3711 for simply making and receiving calls. I'm a light user so battery life is excellent and I really like the tethering capability for my laptop when there's no free wi-fi available. What keeps me from giving it 5 stars is the fact that voice dial simply will not work properly, a fact that Nokia tech support has confirmed and has taken under advisement. I am also miffed that T-Mo has turned off the ability to enable downloaded apps to access the internet. I prefer Opera Mini to the clunky browser provided but it, and any other app that accesses the net, will not work. Nokia balmes T-Mo for greying out the option to turn on access and T-Mo feigns ignorance. If those 2 items were fixed I'd happily rate it the best flip phone available.
The camera is adequate with proper lighting but it's OK as a "convenience" cam.
Pros Great little phone. Sleek, light, good looking. Camera was decent, not great. MP3 player was a nice feature.
Cons After 5 months the phone died. I received a call, flipped the phone open, pressed answer and the phone went to black. It wouldn't connect to the computer with the USB. Battery said full, but screen only flashed pathetically a few times.
Summary If you only want a phone for a few months, then plan to upgrade, it's great. T-Mobile customer support advised this phone has a "known problem" of "not powering back up". Probably a good idea to stay away from this particular phone until it's known issues have been resolved. I am pretty easy on my phones. My last one lasted 5 years. More than a little disappointed in durability/longevity.
Pros Volume is good. Reception is fine.
Cons None as far as i can determine.
Summary I would say this phone preforms well for what you would buy a phone for, plus it takes reasonable pictures. I don't text and think its a waste of time. If you wanted to text buy a phone with a keyboard!
Pros A modernist/minimalist design with big buttons and a good display. Looks good!
Cons BAD speakerphone. Call quality less-than-adequate. The phone died a stinking death within 13 days. Back to my reliable Samsung.
Summary Cheap construction, hard to use, but it looks cool. Impress your friends! Not worth the price.Hey Nokia! Impress us with a better front display and speakerphone. Put some quality into this machine and it just might work.

Pros Got this phone a week ago, and so far i've been happy with the design, the call clarity, and the camera.
Cons There's a bizarre delay while text messages load - it actually says "opening message" and makes you wait to read it! In an open message, you can't hit a button to read the next one; you have to return to the menu.
Summary It's a nice phone as a phone, and i kind of like the retro-ish look and feel. But I'm only a moderate text messager and already finding it very un-quick for texts.
