"Laptop? Laptop? We don't need no stinking laptop!" on by maureen.muncy
Pros: WiFi!!!, great keyboard, fabulous screen for web, every program you could want
Cons: A little slow and need some tech savvy, as Nokia doesn't support in the US
Summary: This device is now my brain. In addition to being a complete PDA, it has a word processing, spreadsheet and a presentation program. The phone is great, good sound quality and of course has email/SMS and you can IM with third party software. BUT -- Nokia hasn't offically released this device in the US (what the dealers are selling you is the world phone version without the 850 band) and won't support it here, so you need to be reasonably adventureous if you're buying in the US. There are four forums in particular you should visit if you need help, howardforums.com, allaboutsymbian.com, my-symbian.com and 9500communicator.com -- all of them have forums dedicated to Series 80 Nokia 9500/9300 phone. But you can't upgrade the firmware here, so make sure you're getting the 4.5 firmware version when you buy the device. With that caveat, it is the best marriage of a phone and pda I've every seen.

"Almost perfect" on by Dr.Christianson
Pros: It replaces laptops
Cons: Too heavy for a smartphone size
Summary: I am very satisfied. This replaces my DELL laptop quite well... It has the word processor, wi-fi LAN, spreadsheet, fax/data connection.. everything is there in such a small unit

"One of the greatest phone invented" on
Pros: A full-featured phone with WLAN which makes it easy to check emails. Great layout and pretty solid feel, unlike other flimsy and too lightweight phones.
Cons: You have to access most of the function by opening the phone. Not that big of a deal but it would be better to incorporate more menus (phone mode) without opening the phone, making it more easier to access tones, rings, alarm, etc.

"Treo Killer" on by Bradley Anthony
Pros: Stylish, Big screen, Bluetooth, WiFi, IR, EDGE, Great battery life, 4 ATM style soft keys at edge of screen, Does everything I could possibly throw at it.
Cons: No backlit keyboard, No vibe, Limited "closed" menu options
Summary: I love this phone. I've had a Treo 600, and a Sidekick II, but this beats both of them. I especially love the web browser (Opera) because it can display Javascript, and Flash, unlike most smartphones. I also like how it has a built in office suite, including an email app. It's really nice to download apps for it, because a computer isn't even needed. It can handle .zip files, and even install programs right from the zip utility. Anything you can find on the web for it, you can download with it. I was also surprised by the quality of the camera, it looks great. The thing I like most about it, is when I meet new people, and they see me using it. Their first impression is that I need to get a new phone, because it looks like a Zack Morris phone, or something from the early 90's. It's always fun watching their jaw drop to the ground, when they see what it can really do. Also, I think if I left it somewhere, nobody would think to steal such a "ghetto fabulous" phone. It's also great for SMS spamming. If someone sends you annoying text messages, you can send like a 1,500 character text message, subdivided into 130ish character text messages, and make them live to regret it.

"Excellent mini laptop" on
Pros: WiFi, Bluetooth, fast processor unlike its Predecessors, very reliable, very good battery time
Cons: could be a little faster, more functions on the front screen would have been welcomed
