Symbian OS
Symbian, an open operating system designed to take advantage of the convergance of PDAs and mobile phones, offers a broad array of personal information management (PIM) features, including contact and calendar management and a robust library of third-party applications. Being open, Symbian is less proprietary in nature than most other operating systems, which allows developers to improve the system much faster than other OSs.
