"*IF YOU ARE THINKING OF BUYING THIS PHONE PLS READ!*"
Pros: Gorgeous Design, Awesome Qwerty Keyboad, Quadband, Loudspeaker Does Not Distort Sounds, Surround Ringer, Sturdy Construction, Out Of The Box Internet Ready For T-Mobile, Wifi, Perfect Browser
Cons: Screen not as bright as Blackberries, Buttons a bit hard to press, Camera is soso, Not compatible with Macs.
Summary: I have had about 5 smartphones in the past 3 months, I am an extremely picky person and could never make a decision on what phone to keep.
I have had the Blackberry Pearl, T-Mobile Dash with Windows Mobile 6, Blackberry 8800 and the Blackberry Curve 8300.
The Pearl was snappy but in my opinion should not be considered a smartphone (I hated the suretype keyboard). The T-Mobile Dash looks outdated in a way and it lags way too much. The Blackberry 8800 has great features but it is not comfortable to hold and the lack of a camera was a no no for me. The Blackberry Curve was okay, I expected more from it, the keyboard felt cheap and the design looked a little outdated as well (does not look as good as the pictures on the website).
I just finally got the Nokia E61i and fell in love with it. I have never been a Nokia fan but this phone has everything and more. The design is just breathtaking (for a smartphone), it looks expensive, it feels expensive. The Symbian software does not lag like in most smartphones do. The qwerty keyboard is great, the best I have ever tried before. The ringtones sounded perfect with very little distortion. The browser is the best I have tried, it is like using a desktop computer. It comes with Flash, Office and Adobe PDF already installed. Even though it is on the bigger side, it feels comfortable in the hands unlike the Blackberry 8800. I have downloaded Skype into it and I can make International Calls via T-Mobile's Internet instead of using my minutes nor Long Distance from my cellphone. Nokia PC Suite works like a breeze.
I love this phone, I can honestly say that it is the best smartphone I have ever used.
BUY IT!

I'm totally agree with you. I bought this phone 8 months ago in the Nokia Store of Mexico City. I previously owned a HTC Excalibur (TMobile Dash) and for me it's clear that there is no comparison: the Nokia E61i it's better.

it's HUGE!
too big for me. -
Is this really not 3G usable in the USA? Why would the E61 be 3G, but the E61i not be? And the E62 is not either, so why wasn't this the E62i!?
Please confirm if this is 3g or not. -
I WAS TRYING TO DOWN LOAD SKYOE ON MY NOKIA E61I WHICH I JUST BOUGHT. IT SAYS SKYPE IS NOT SUPPORTED ON NOKIA PHONE. CAN YOU PLEASE HELP.
