"The best cell phone I have ever had..."4.5 starson by two_named_sue
Pros: Great 3.2 MP camera, sleek design, very comfortable key pad for texting, really good user friendly OS, large screen, tons of customizable features.
Cons: Honestly, there isn't much to dislike. There are some connectivity issues from phone to Windows XP computer using USB cable, but I think that's a software issue more than a phone issue.
Summary: The most impressive thing to me about the Nokia e71x is the camera. 3.2 Mega Pixels packed into a slim, attractive phone. Now I don't have to lug around a digital camera in my purse because it's already built right into my phone, and the pictures look really, really good for a cell phone. Some people can't even tell the difference when the Nokia e71x pictures are side by side with others I took with my Kodak Easy share digital camera. The second most important thing to me about this phone was all the customization options. Using Nokia PC Suite I can "click and drag" photos, videos, music, screen savers, ring tones, wallpapers, etc from my computer and then use them on my phone however I want. Sometimes there are communication errors between phone and pc using the usb cable in conjunction with the PC Suite software, but 1 touch picture transfer works perfect every time, making me believe it's Nokia PC Suite software for Windows XP that's the problem. This phone really feels like *my* phone because of all the customizable features. I did not see improvement with reception using this phone in comparison to my last phone, but I live out in the country where no one except All tell users seem to get any reception anyway. I did get the data plan with AT&T which costs an additional $30 a month, but I completely feel like it has been worth it. I have definitely used up that much in data just in the first two weeks of owning the phone. For me, the Nokia cost approximately $60.00 with a renewed contract with AT&T, something I also felt was well worth it. The phone is amazing. Best phone I ever had.
