Nokia N8 (blue, unlocked)

Pros: Good quality calls and Ovi applications.

Cons: Freeze during certain times and hard to predict when the next.

Summary: We were driving up the ramp on the highway. My son who just got his driver license listened attentively to the Nokia N8 driving home built-in map guidance. Up on the ramp, N8 stated saying to take a right turn now. Then on another ramp, it says to make a u-turn now! How ridiculous especially when the freeway was built nearly 2 years ago. My son almost had an accident because of his frantic search for the turns as there was some cars alongside. Worse is there is no way one can alert the makers of this phone or get an effective reply to personally update the map like some Garmin or dedicated gps devices can.
(Note: there is an all new update, this month though but unfortunately after wasting five hours + connected to nokia ovi website for a new map application including world maps update, it turned out that the problem remains!) Don't trust ovi maps at all! The Hd videos is actually good although not as good as a dedicated HD camcorder. The still camera is horrible.
Key inputs is quite good.
My N8 has had some trouble in starting a few times but not as much recently. Not sure what to think anymore! I just wish Nokia Care servicing people were more helpful as they have turned out to be not as knowledgeable as I hoped for and plead ignorant most of the time.
