"Nice product when it works"
Pros: Good feature set
Cons: Software has a propensity to crash
Summary: I bought an unlocked N82 while passing through the Hong Kong airport. The software crashed in less than a week. A round trip to the Nokia Customer care center in Hong Kong did not fix the problem. Dealing with Nokia customer care in the US has been an exercise in frustration and corporate buck passing even though I have indicated that I would pay for the fix.
I hope others have better luck.

Quite strange after getting pretty high ratings, prof12 is the only one with a 1.
In the first place the guy shouldn't have gotten the phone in CHINA! -
Weird, this guy has no other products that he rated and he only logged in once, and logged in the day he registered and none after....obviously this profile is a phony who wishes he owned it.

You know, instead of trashing the phone without reviewing a single feature you could always return the damn thing within a month and get yourself a SE '****.

Software crashes are easily fixed if they ever happen. In the most unfortunate case all you have to do is back your contacts via Nokia PC Suite, then use the magic *#7370# code and if you wish to do so update the phone's software to its latest version via Nokia Update.
