"Awesome OS, awesome features in this phone." on by hary536

Pros: super OS, full web-browsing, good camera, multi-tasking, fast processor, high in-built memory.

Cons: Will report later, if any.

"This is absolutely a pricey piece of junk" on by soldatd

Pros: a few good features; and screen resolution is outstanding.

Cons: Hard as hell to configure and too bulky. Don't give up your blackberry that junk. This is the most unser-friendly cell phone I have seen. I almost feel stupid to have bought it. In my opinion, this machine is not ready to be marketed.

Summary: the item looks good and can do great things, if Nokia updates and upgrades it. Hopefully, the developpers are hard at work to make the Nokia 900 a truly good machine and cell phone. In the current condition, I advise the faint at heart, amateurs, and those looking for user-friendliness to abstain and avoid the Nokia 900. As for me, I suffer a great loss. I am going to box it and stick to my Treo Pro, which is far better than the Nokia 900.

"Nokia again dissapointed..." on by gary199301

Pros: Good smartphone with multitasking capabilities and QWERTY input

Cons: Bad multimedia! No navigation keys to simplify navigation. Resistive touchscreen. Off sided space bar. Hell expensive. Same old small 5MP camera...

Summary: Nokia doesn't seem to be interested in what consumers want! The same old configurations are repeated overtime and only a bit changes are introduced in new products. The body design isn't appealing and the software inside, although is fast, but not edge cutting, which a consumer would want today. I myself own Nokia N97 and i'am dissapointed with it, seriously. All those who are this review of mine, please note that:
DO NOT BUY N97 UNTIL IT's JUST 1$. EVEN A 2$ DEAL IS MUCH EXPENSIVE FOR N97.
While SonyEricsson and Samsung have gone wild by flushing out 12MP cameras, Xenon flash, a very to understand and operate GUI and o/s, Nokia is still sitting probably waiting when will it liquidate! Nokia really needs to get feedback from their customers rather than focusing on how beautiful their web-site should look like, which still is very bad even after getting feedbacks. THATS PATHETIC OF YOU NOKIA.

I'll tell the reason why NOKIA is no.1:
    1. Goodwill:
NOKIA has no doubt attained the highest goodwill, probably because it was the first manufacturer of cellphones.
    2. SUPERSTITION:
People have superstition about NOKIA that their products are highly reliable. This is my 3rd NOKIA handset, and all of them were bad pieces which broke down within 2 years of gentle use. Whereas SonyEricsson is wildly using the best possible technology to make the phones reliable, and there it succeeds. My SonyEricsson K750i fell many times, sometimes very badly, but still works like new WITHOUT A SINGLE HANG OR PROBLEM!!!

Nokia really needs to understand the market and make products based on that, not on what they like. But on what consumers like.

I hope this review is a must read by NOKIA and yes, a little bit of discalimer, I am NOT responsible for anything if the consumers read this review and do not buy NOKIA. I just shared a real information, buying or not, depends on you...

"I was disapointed" on by hefreaky2002

Pros: Well if the poor phone would have booted up maybe I could tell you!!!

Cons: Brand New out the box the phone wouldnt boot up all I got was the NOKIA screen and a Beeping noise! Then found out that you cant use it for MMS! and you cant use it on At&t if you want to use your 3G.

Summary: The phone is not what I thought a NOKIA should be, I have had all types of NOKIA phones over the years, I carry a N95 8GB, now, and I was looking to upgrade and got let down, what is NOKIA trying to do push people to the IPHONE? and they going to have to do a firmware up date to fix the issues with these N900's??? My Nokia came to me in the us mail 12/12/2009 at 9:30am and By 12/12/2009 11:50pm I was at a UPS drop box sending it back to amazon for a refund! please Nokia get your act together, you used to be the BEST in my book now I just dont know.
