"Excellent for the most part."
Pros: Good heavy sturdy construction
Cons: menu print is small
Summary: I?ve had this phone for 3 months now and for the most part it?s excellent!!
The Nokia PC Suite that came with the phone had some problems with MP3
Downloading, but when you download the latest upgrade the problem is solved.
Yes the camera has no flash, but it is a 2MP camera, and it takes good pics. You can
Easily send pics to any cell or e-mail address. What I really like about the N91 is that
You can connect it to you PC and do all of your contact entries, e-mail address entries
And text messaging. With my 11 previous cell phones, those that can text, this phone
Has been the BEST! I hated texting because it was a pain! With the N91, you just type
In what you want and press send while it?s connected to your PC ! Of course when not
With your PC, you will have to go manual again. This phone has a bunch of fast phrases
That you can choose from.
My favorite part of this phone is the 4gb hard drive in which you can use for MP3 downloads. Yes downloading is a bit slow, but a lot faster that Sony?s Sonicstage!
When you compress it to Nokia?s conversion rate, you can get up to 3000 songs. My
Favorite part of the MP3 player is that it?s very easy to access, 1 button press and you?re
There! Also the headphone jack is the normal size that you find in any MP3 player (not
The small cell phone ones) giving you the choice to use higher fidelity headpones!
The sound that comes out is as good as or better than my other MP3 players!
I compared this to my Ipod 5gen video, my Sony NW-H5, my Sony NW-1200 and my
Archos AV-700. As you can tell I am a bit of an electronics geek!
The MP3 menu on this player is similar to most. You can access Song, Artist, Genre, Playlist, etc. I like the fact that this player remembers the track that you last listened to,
Unlike my Ipod. Like the Ipod, it will play a chosen section then turn itself off. This is
Great for me, as I listen to music before I go to sleep.
Other good features worth mentioning: Good heavy sturdy construction, good illumination, USB connection, excellent speaker phone, blue tooth, large screen,
1 button for keypad lock and HD lock, external speaker to listen to music, and
the battery is Nokia standard, now inexpensive and easily available.
Now for the bad: a bit on the heavy side compare to most phones, slow download,
And menu print is small ( I have to use my glasses). But I still give it a 93% rating!!
