Pros Large screen makes watching video enjoyable
Cons Battery life
Summary Been using the N96 since April 08 and like having GPS and maps handy at all times. Also the 16g memory is great for storing video.
Pros Great video, good for quick connects to the internet
Cons I didn't like having to read the manual every time I wanted to do something new, like make a call, send a text or take a photo. Those things should be obvious.
Summary The amount of rage stored in my battery after using this product was more than the energy stored in the batteries of the N96 after being charged all night. Very tempting to throw this phone against the wall while laughing wildly. Avoid this, get something that is easier to use (like chernobyl, a nuclear submarine, or the starship enterprise).
Pros Media player (who needs an iPod?)
Quite responsive (mostly)
Cons Miserable battery performance - about 24-36 hours per charge on (my) average usage.
Summary Don't plan on making any long calls and ALWAYS have a charger handy!
Pros Satisfactory Sound
Cons Slow Loading
fairly low resolution
Wlan IS unreliable
Dirty badly lit looking keypads
slow to react
restarts a lot
Oh and extremely OVERPRICED for crap
Summary Bought this phone when it was just released and paid almost 600 euro for it. I had high expectations and thought it would be better than my n95, I was wrong, The phone out of the box is flimsy and although it looks ok its too bulky. The screen is better on the n95 although its a 2.6" on the n95 its brighter and sharper. The wlan is crap and often takes a long time to scan for a wlan network, The sound is ok, The phone is notoriously SLOW and soft resets all the time, despite having a not at all great 128mb ram. The camera is stupid and lacks a xenon flash, you would think it would be much more than a 5mpix even the n95 camera takes better pictures and video. buttons on keypad are vey small and too close together. Its not worthwhile and even i was a die hard nseries fanatic. I bought a samsung innov8 and its great just check it specs,
