Palm Pre (Sprint)

Pros: I have waited for this phone for months and was one of the first to buy it and the cool charging stone. Palm Pre is excellent for surfing the web ... LOVE the "pinch" to make things bigger/smaller! BUT First IS a phone, and that is where it fails.

Cons: The battery life is WAY too short, the ringer(s) are not loud enough and the time given to answer is shorter than on other Palms. Data synching cannot be done between Palm products (only your contact list and cal can be moved to the pre(not ringers)

Summary: Botom line I love it as a hand held computer, the OS was awesome. I cannot say enough great things about it as a hand help portable web device or note taker ... BUT as a phone, it simply is not functional for me. I had it for two days, missed dozens of phone calls because I couldn't hear the ringer (and yes, I did check that it was set on high) so, sadly, I returned it to my local Sprint store on Monday and and parted with what I wanted to be the greatest phone EVER .... it just wasn't :(
