"Very confusing" on by Gadget Guru

    Pros: basic PDA functions, speakerphone

Cons: Can't respond to text messages... can only view them...can't even see who the text message came from...OS is confusing to navigate...just get the Treo 600 or 650

    Summary: See cons

"I cut my ISP after buying it and used it for 2 months" on

Summary: I added so many apps that it would be ridiculous to list them all, so I will list only my favorites. They are: aol instant messenger(aim), eudora, ptelnet, instep print&fax, document to go, treomodem, and the web clipping libraries. With aim, I have an always-on im client that I can use anywhere. With Eudora, I can send/receive email anywhere. ptelnet - I can telnet into any computer terminal from anywhere. instep - I can fax any documents stored on my phone to any fax machine from anywhere. doc2go - I can view/edit msoffice documents and fax them via instep. TreoModem - It lets me use my destop pc/mac to connect to the internet using my treo300 as the service provider. WebClippingLib - Install this and you will be able to use web clipping apps designed for the Palm VII.

"Best all in one value" on

Summary: I waited to get a cell phone until a quality-color, pda(Palm OS), web phone came on the market. I was bit hesitant since none of the stores had a working model on the floor. Since I had a thirty day refund window-I went for it-and couldn't be happier. I make alot of long distance calls-so the cost of the phone and service will pay for itself in the long run. Regardless-the browsing and phone quality are better than I expected. The Palm OS is great. Fast and efficient. The windows OS has brought our speed back to the old 8088 days. Thank god for competition. This is the second best purchase of value for the dollar I have made in years.

"Wish the cover was sturdier" on by poundermd

    Pros: Great phone, PDA

    Cons: Cover is a deal-breaker

Summary: I would rate this much higher if the flip-cover was stronger -- mine lasted six months before breaking off. Everything else was fantastic: Phone service with Sprint was solid (my concerns about Sprint's customer service notwithstanding), web access was solid, email is good and PDA ops were as good as you'd expect with a Palm-based unit. Had it not been for the cover, I'd rate this an 8 or a 9, but with that problem, which seems to be inevitable, I can't say it's anything more than mediocre.

"DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$!" on

    Pros: Great phone, nice features

Cons: will not work overseas. Just in U.S. also will only work with Sprint (awful service), over priced!!
