Pros: Slimmer, no antenna
Cons: Lousy battery life
Summary: If you are used to the battery life from previous Treo models, you will be highly dissapointed in the 680. Just sitting it sucks the life from the battery.
If you travel very much, you better plan on plugging in the unit whenever you get a chance or you won't be talking on your phone.

Palm has posted a Battery patch. It appeared the camera was staying on and using up juice, even when not in use by the user. <br><br>I installed the patch and I'm able to go 2-3 days of moderate use between charges. I sync most nights, so charging isn't a problem. Before the battery patch, I'd purchased a car charger for $12.00, that helped. I don't use it much anymore.<br><br>Check the Palm site for the patch...
