"CNET CREDIBILITY..............FALL ING."
Pros: Memory upgrade......
Cons: very very very few.
Summary: I have used the following:
Moto Q
Treo 700W
Treo 650
XV6700 (current phone)
Hands down the best of the lot was the 700W, BUT, the memory was such deal breaker that it defeated all the other pluses. Now Sprint has addressed that by upgrading the memory and CNET still gives ita 7.0? I would think twice before putting any stock in these reveiws.

I could not agree more with the shabby outlook of the 700wx provided by CNET. If you are contemplating a PDA phone and you're a Sprint customer... Buy the 700wx... trust me... you will not be disappointed. F blackberry... sync your exchange with this phone and save a bundle.

your complainin that the phone got a 7? look at whast missin in the phone! no wifi... no dial up thru bluetooth, you basicaly gotta pay whenever you wanna surf. and u cant say that, that tech isnt out yet... for this much i rather buy the Nokia E63... perfectly fair rating.

I would have to agree that Cnet's credibility is very low. Someone commented that maybe their standards are just high, but Cnet often rates poor products highly and good products badly. Its just not possible to get an accurate review when they are testing products under ideal conditions for a limited amount of time. When I look at product reviews the User reviews weigh about 90% and Cnet 10%.

Does the phone have a speakerphone?
Thanks! -
...just like many other products reviewed by CNet there is always someone out there that is madly in love with the object at hand and would do or say anything to defend it's honor and glory. I've done it.

There are two ways to look at this situation. It's either their standards for emerging technologies are getteing higher so they rate what used to be very good tech as just ok or what garment69 just said. I prefer to think or rather I prefer to believe that they're just upping the ante.
