"Good overall phone and pocket pc"
Pros: Able to do more than just phone and basic stuff
Cons: Email is good, almost as good as a blackberry
Summary: I came to this phone from a blackberry (8703e). I switched because I wanted a phone that would allow me to watch video and audio files so I could cut down on the items I carry when I travel.
PROS:
Excellent phone reception. I have had only two calls drop in the month I have had them. On the GSM network, I was continually having calls cut in and out (I live in an area that has excellent CDMA and GSM reception).
Email is good, not quite as good as the blackberry but with an exchange service I set up for (mail2web.com, $1.99 a month) active sync I get email almost as quick as my balckberry did.
Video and audio files. I can now watch video and audio on my phone. I also am now able to receive MMS messages (couldn't get them with the blackberry).
Lots of programs that I can run and make my life easier. I am runnign an excellent program for weather and airport availability. Could not do that with the blackberry.
Verizon has a wider area of service also. One of the areas I traveled to was the mid west which had spotty GSM coverage. With my verizon service I can now get service and broadband access where I had trouble getting just phone service before.
Touch screen is also nice. I can navigate a little quicker than I could on the blackberry.
CONS:
Email is not quite as good as the blackberry but it is really close with the exchange service and active sync. This is so close I almost didn't mention it but blackberrys do have a slight edge.

I have setup both MS mobile and Blackberry devices and MS is by far the better setup for Enterprise MS Exchange setups. No extra software is required on the desktop or server plus all Outlook data (contacts, appointments, email, tasks, even notes I believe) is synced in MS mobile wirelessly. All that is needed to setup a MS mobile device is the server address , security settings, and the username and password.
