"First Phone that actually does what its supposed to do!!!"
Pros: Bright Screen, Customizable Ringtones and Wallpapers, Immediate Email, Outlook Integration, TXT Messaging Ease
Cons: SureType hard to get used to, Expensive pricing on top of your existing Cingular plan
Summary: This phone is a great phone. I wasn't to happy to have to pay an extra $49.99 per month on top of my $69.99 plan with Cingular but this is the only BlackBerry I would carry around with me.
Other BlackBerry's are big and bulky and goofy looking, this one is clean, it works well, i typically receive emails on my BlackBerry before my LAN while sitting at my desk.
I use this BB with a BlackBerry Enterprise Server and its just wonderful.
I really dont have any complaints other than its hard to find one of these units. I went to 4 Cingular stores in the metro Orlando, FL area before I found a store withh them in stock.
I bought a optional leather case off eBay made just for the 7100g and its perfect.
I would HIGHLY recommend this phone to anyone who likes to get their email on their phone and actually be able to READ it and REPLY to it. Also sending txt messages is a breeze.
The battery life lasts long as well.
Im the biggest critic when it comes to phones, ill usually go through 3-4 before I find one that I like and the BlackBerry has given me no problems other than the status light does not blink like it is supposed to.
The Bluetooth is great too, works perfect.
