"Poor service"
Pros: None with the T-Mobile service
Cons: Poor service watch out for gimmicks on rebates
Summary: T-Mobile Complaint
Gimmick
The deal: I was told that I was going to receive a rebate from T-Mobile for buying a new phone
The ripoff: I received no rebate in the mail. Just a letter saying that I would not be getting a rebate because I did not sign up for a data plan.
The situation. I bought the phone at a T-mobile store and was told by the representative in the store that everything was fine and that I would receive a rebate. I even asked him is their any restrictions and he said no (He even helped fill out the form). I have poor vision and relied on the representative to help me. He lied and I was ripped off.
I called T-Mobile and tried to file a complaint and was told that they had no information of the sale.
T-Mobile takes advantage of customers and those with disabilities.
Updated on May 1, 2009This is not a review of the phone but of the carrier. However I believe customers should be aware of the practices of a phone carrier before purchasing any phone. I believe my post is informative.
This forum should be setup so carriers can be reviewed as well as the devices they carry. I wish there was a better way to let consumers know about carrier faults. I stand behind my review of the carrier.

Silly person! Tmobile in fact has the best customer service and the most reasonably priced phones for new contracts as well as upgrades. I have had every carrier available in the Pacific NW and Tmobile has been the best. I have had Verizon (horrible phones due to Verizon proprietary software and horrible customer service with warranty issues.), Sprint (horrible coverage, basic phones, and horrible customer service.), AT&T (everytime anyone who called from a land line called they got a rapid busy signal and tech support was not able to explain why.). I also had Nextel for a few years and really liked them because of the durability of the phones and the push to talk feature but my wife didn't like the fact that they weren't "pretty" so needless to say we switched to Tmobile and have been with them ever since.

I know that you are trying to be helpful by writing a review of T-Mobile, but this is not the forum for that. This is about a particular device, the curve 8900. All information posted should be about the phone itself, not the carrier.

how is this a problem with the phone. dont dock points from the 8900, blame your carrier. i got my rebate just fine
