"Red Phone Reminds me of a 21st Century Whitehouse Hotline"

Pros: Great Push Email and improved web browser

Cons: No WiFi to get a google map of the Whitehouse
Summary: On AT&T's robust Edge network, this little red pearl sings through email and basic webpages, however I would have liked to see the incorporation of wifi into this jewel. They have improved the browser, but why they didn't add wifi is beyond me. I've owned 3 Blackberry's prior to this one, and by far I think this one is my favorite. Finally RIM decided to add a decent digital camera on this unit, and the user defined shortcut keys keep my commonly used features available at the touch of a button. I am also impressed by the audio quality of the MP3 playback, but with memory limited to the SD cards, video playback is still not up to speed with my iPod simply because of its limited storage. I also have chosen to add matching red Mobile Power Pack from Battery Geek to increase the overall runtime on the Pearl. Now in my downtime, I can listen to hours of music while browsing the net. Try doing that on your iPod. I know the iPhone is coming and you will be able to shortly, however the real problem with most of these devices is their support of streaming internet radio stations. When someone introduces a reliable internet radio player, I will be the first on board. Until then, the new Pearl at least gives others the impression I have the red hotline to the Prez even if I am speaking with my mother. Overall, Blackberry has done well by offering a better alternative to the BlackJack on the AT&T network.
