"How can you rate this phone when you have no experience"
Pros: It is ridiculous that people are complaining/raving about features this phone might or might not have. All of you who have rated this phone should really have waited until you were able to get your hands on one; your reviews are worthless.
Cons: The fact that CNet allows morons to review products that have not been released.

Are you a RIM employee??? Worked on the Blackberry Storm ??
-
You stated whats good or bad about the phone.
-
I agree 100%. I myself have the Storm and do not agree with a majority of the posts. I have experienced zero screen glitches, zero software issues, and the battery life is exceptionally well. This was an upgrade from a Palm Treo 700W, and I will never go back.
Cons: The only con I have with the phone is the click factor. Typing and using the keyboard would be quicker and more functional if it was based on touch and not the click. That is my only beef with the phone, but that is not even a concern for me and gets more and more easier everytime you use it. -
Bonnie Cha's review is right on the spot even though i tried really liking the phone even with the lag/bugginess but i couldn't like it enough to switch over to Verizon's reliable network so i returned the BB Storm and went back to the iphone until they resolve the major issues. And i've had the BB Storm for three weeks along with the upgraded software but still very buggy.!!!! Very inaccurate when typing..back to the drawing board RIM!!!

apparently you dont understand the concept of a review, because you didnt state one thing about the d*** phone
-
You do realize that however true your review is it is just as unhelpful as all others.

Hope this helps!!!! They had their phone for a couple days now. Seems valid to me -
I'm using one right now and it is a great touch phone but a poor blackberry...if that makes sense??? If you txt and email get a keyboard...touchscreens are not for those who live and die by email and txt. The device should fit your lifestyle/preference and not the other way around.

They have also reviewed this phone at Engadget.com. Same results.

Ummm... HELLO!! Are you not rating something you have no experience with as well!?!?!?!? Basically all we have here are iphone lovers and iphone haters.
-
I have read the specs but does anyone have any idea what the audio range is going to be on the Storm audio? The iPhone BW out runs 20hz to 20000hz, KINDA LAME considering that my Sony buds can dig down to 6Hz all the way out to 23KHz.
What is the Storm bringing? -
To the comment below, you must assign a product a star rating to post a review. Better to give it a positive rating versus a half star. It's only fair to the product.
-
Great point. I'm looking forward to getting one when it comes out, and at that time I will post a review.
-
What a refreshing review, this phone isn't even out yet!
-
I agree, people need to stop rating products they have never handled
-
I think he has a very good point. The phone doesn't come out until November 21, and according to RIM, no test units were sent out for review, so how in the world could all the other reviews on here be of any use? They are pure speculation. Right on!
-
sad thing is he gave it a rating and it effected it
-
I did try one. In New York City, were are u writing from, Osh Kosh?

vanillablue21, I don't think it's trivial at all. People depend upon these reviews to hepl them to make informed decisions. Reviews posted by people who have no experience with a device skew the ratings. It's a huge problem both here, and at Amazon - reviewers who are too stupid to understand how the system is supposed to work, or who are too narcissistic to care.
-
He has a good point. I've always wondered about these kind of reviews. Most everyone reviewing w/o experience are either iPhone haters or iPhone lovers.
-
stop getting your undies in a bundle over something so trivial...
wow, you need to learn some anger management...
