Pros This phone has Android 2.3, the newest version of Android, touchscreen and on-screen keyboard work very well and respond very quickly. Comes with a coupon for $15.00 towards android apps which is a nice plus!
Cons None so far
Summary Just got this phone, and this is my first Android touch screen phone but I have to say I am loving it!! So far it has been easy for me to use, everything works great on it, the call quality was very good in my area and sounds much clearer than my prior phone. The touch screen is very good and responsive, easy to make a call, and user friendly. There is so much you can do with this phone and my 12 year old son is already bugging me because he wants one! lol I I recommend this phone to anyone who may be intersted in it!!!
Pros just about everything
Cons no camera flash
a little slow loading apps
Summary Love this phone! Great phone at a great price. like I said in the cons, no camera flash and sometimes the apps are a little slow to load, nothing major or that i cant handle. it says 7 hours of sandby and 3 hours of talk time. after downloading a battery saver app my batter is great. i have been using it pretty frequently for 8 hours and still have 75% battery life.
Pros Easy to use.
Swype text entry is easy to use.
Free GPS navigation is incredibly accurate and faster than my old Tom-Tom device.
Cons Some of the "widgets" from the Android market are billed as being very useful and actually interfere with the phone - steer clear of anything that says it will save your battery life.
Summary Great phone. My wife and I bought these as alternatives to the iPhone 4. We were with AT&T for seven years and while the company "appreciated" our loyalty, they refused to allow us to upgrade our old GSM handsets to the iPhone 4 when they came out, citing the early upgrade option for existing iPhone owners only - no exceptions. After this, we waited the few months we had remaining on our contracts and went with Metro PCS. I'm impressed with the phone and the various Android apps. I like swype text entry - it's easy to use. The drag & drop feature for music is great, too. Despite the reviewer's comments about the call quality, I haven't encountered any issues when the signal is strong. I live in a "vortex" and even my AT&T phone would drop calls. Go outside my neighborhood and it's all good. (Sprint also has connectivity issues in my neighborhood so it MUST be a geographical issue and not quality.)
Metro PCS calling with unlimited text and data (plus back-up service and phone insurance) saves me $35/ month over my old AT&T calling plan with 1,400 minutes, 200 text messages/ line and NO data, NO mobile web and NO insurance/back-up.
Pros Android - love it
Cons Battery life is abysmal
When using car plugin it doesn't give even enough power to talk and recharge! (on second charger since december 31st too)
Phone shuts down at will
Summary Samsung truly sucks - I hated their printers and should have known better
Pros 3.5 regular screen (like iPhone)
android 2.3 gingerbread
3.2 megapixel camera like 5 megapixel camera
speaker great loud
Cons 196 MB of storage a litte to low for me
no camera flash so dark in low light
Summary the phone is better when it is rooted !!!!!!!!!!!!!
