"So many good features, such a pretty package" on by cleoz

Pros: Micro USB, 3.5mm headset jack, beautiful screen, dedicated media button (cube)

Cons: No support for @ymail.com addresses, had to go Google for easiest sync of contacts and mail. Expensive. Some Samsung UI elements.

Summary: I've been playing with my Behold II nonstop since I got it yesterday ($449.99 without contract). The screen is absolutely beautiful, and more responsive than the Cliq that I tried out over the weekend. (Sorry for comparing the two, but these are the only 2 Android phone's I've had time to use) The screen orientation changes faster, the camera is one of the best I've seen on a phone, music quality is decent over speaker and great with headphones. I've read a lot of reviews where people think that the cube feature is pointless, but I'm a fan. I'm always listening to music and showing off pics of my son, so having a dedicated media button is great for me.

As far as the Samsung UI, there's a lot of stuff there that could go. The Quicklist is pointless, I can get to the same apps using the slide out menu. The battery and signal bars aren't as pretty as on other Android phones, but they give the information that they're supposed to. I do like having the dedicated buttons along the bottom of every screen; don't have to switch screens to make a quick phone call or look up a number. Also, I like that Samsung has included network options at the top of the notification screen.

There are a few quirks with this phone, like every other phone IMO, but overall I think it's a winner.

"This phone stinks" on by collsnj

Pros: It's slim and light. The camera and video are great.

    Cons: everything else.

Summary: I hated this phone. I bought it when it first came out and from the beginning it had glitches. Applications would just open randomly. I would go to use the phone and discover that it had set itself on airplane mode for the past hour. The original phone finally just froze one day. I got a replacement, and that took about two weeks for the backlight on the screen to just stay on all the time no matter how long it was set for. The battery would just die all the time. This phone has been nothing but a piece of junk.

"SAMSUNG LIED about this phone!" on by bradngary

Pros: Too angry to mention any

Cons: Slowness of reboot, bloated with software you will never use and cannot get rid of without rooting the phone

Summary: When introduced, they promised that the 1.5 OS would be later upgraded to 2.x. Now they are going back on it and abandoning it for the newer phone Galaxy S. I have been a loyal customer to Samsung for a long time, but this time, after buying two of these when I got my new cell carrier, I will never buy another product from Samsung.

"SECOND BEST TO NEXUS" on by cellguru18

Pros: Extremely light, beautiful pictures/video, bright flash light, lots of options, and three desktops. The behold is truly the multitasking prince...love it.

Cons: Andriod 1.5, some echoes while talking, useless cube...

Summary: I have tried the nexus, mytouch, lg envy and I have to say the Behold 2 out shines them in certain categories. First... yes the nexus one has all these dazzling effects but is it the most uncomfortable phone....to me its too long in design and uncomfortably heavy. The b2 has a wonderful aesthetic feel to it, it feels expensive and looks expensive. The touch screen is beautiful and I noticed I can see pretty darn well in the sunlight compared to the nexus.
The verizon android is just extremely ugly...behold wins here...
So when it comes to talking on the iphone your cheeks sometimes causes you to either dial, hang up but the behold two black outs to keep your cheeks from making another call, DEF a big plus here. And while your on the phone you can read messages without having to hang up.
So basically you can, listen to music, talk on the phone, send a text, and more all at the same time...truly orgasmic. THE best part you dont have to change screens meaning theres a little news feed on the top of the screen which you can pull down and see who, what going on. So if you get a voicemail, text and call it shows you the information.
The sound quality is above average nothing special i just love i can hook up my pc speakers to my phone and listen to pandora music radio.
The drag and drop features are awesome and BTW there a little menu on the left hand side AND i have not had any problems with it IT DOES NOT GET IN THE WAY...seriously you have to have a HUGE FREAKING finger for that menu to get in the way.

    Couple of things to mention:
Envy has 3+ mg pixel camera compared to beholds 2 awesome 5 meg u dont need a digi cam anymore.
Mytouch...ugh...what can i say feels cheap...and small screen....nothing appealing to it...
Iphone...god theres not multitasking how can u live without multitasking
nexus...freaking heavy...i dont care if a galaxy spins in the background...i want a light phone...

Every other phone...its either missing the camera power, ugly, lousy speaker or just missing something the behold 2 has everything you need and did i mention its FREAKING AFFORDABLE...
