"My BlackJack II was a bust"
Pros: small and stylish, and had good reviews
Cons: mine was a lemon

You can see the reality there. In general, there are people who love some phones, and others who have significant problems with same. I had read/heard great things about the BlackJack II, so finally made the buy.
I owned the BJII for just over 2 weeks and it was a lemon. I spent countless hours (about 30!!) between forums and tech support and trying to sync w/my PC, and nothing could overcome:
? Pitiful battery power (could not even get through a day, with minimal phone and e-mail use)
? Menus that didn?t function
? E-mail that sometimes worked, sometimes didn?t
? Attachments that came in with e-mail, but could never be opened
? The AT&T-specific mail program (XPress) worked one day, then never again (always got an error message)
? ActiveSync 4.5 never did work with my PC
Finally, on day 17 my contacts disappeared and the phone started turning itself off for no reason. Even after all that I figured I just had a lemon and should give BJII a second chance, but I gave up and now have a Tilt (by AT&T).
