  • "Superb value! Good performance for a fair price!"
    on by MarcosHiro

Pros Lightweight, excellent display, good battery life, gorgeous and neat OS, very responsive and no gasps in performance. Best value in the market!

Cons Mid quality plastic used in the back cover and poor earphones.

  • "Great phone. Great price. Great OS."
    on by DennyRage0

Pros You're not going to find a better windows phone for the price. Try windows phone, you might like it. Bottom line it works and works well.

Cons 5mp camera in a 8mp world. Screen could have been bigger.

Summary Youre will be getting the most out of your dollar with this phone. If 1/2 of screen size and 3mp difference is worth $150 to you then go with the Samsung Focus S.

  • "We have had this phone for a month now. 4 stars."
    on by LMSGuy

Pros With AT&T, we got this phone for free with a two year plan. The price was $499.99 without the plan (a bit high if you ask me). Great graphics, good organization. Hearing aid compatible, good sound quality with and without hearing aids. Good app select

Cons Wonky on-screen keyboard, poor button placement, sensitive buttons.

Summary Excellent screen clarity. As a hard-of-hearing person, I found the sound quality to be much better than what they report here. Also, my hearing aids adapt well to the speakers. The WP tiles schema is clean, and the extended menu to the right of the tiles is well organized. While there are not the tons of apps available as with iPhone or Droid, the app selection is growing, and is more than ample already. The onscreen keyboard is a bit too small, and the phone does not revert to landscape or portrait mode easily. Also, the button placement makes it easy to turn off the phone or inadvertently adjust the volume. The Windows back button is easily touched as well. 3G is bit slow, but the connectivity is quick over my home wi-fi. Would definitely purchase again. The cons are not severe enough to warrant more than a one-star loss. I would recommend this phone to a friend.
