Samsung Focus S (AT&T)

Pros: Beautiful Screen, LONG battery life, crystal clear call quality

Cons: Very light

Summary: This phone makes me smile every time I use it. The Windows Phone OS is beautifully designed and totally intuitive. It is the only mobile OS that enhances the experience and usability of the phone, rather than being an obstacle.

I used to hate touch screen keyboards, but this is the best I have used by far, and I am not really missing my Blackberry keyboard anymore. The screen itself is big and bright, with amazing contrast. The camera is very good, and having the dedicated camera button actually makes it useful as a point-and-shoot.

I was initially torn between the Focus S and the Titan, because I prefer the heavier duty aluminum build of the Titan. But the Titan's call quality sounded muffled and border-line unintelligible, while the Focus S is crystal clear. I use the phone for business calls, so this was the deciding factor for me.

Also, while the tech reviewers always criticize Windows Phone for the supposed dearth of apps, I find the selection to be very good. All of the important stuff is there, and a lot of it is baked right into the OS, and works better than the dedicated apps, right out of the box.
