  • "Its a great phone, I m lovn it!"
    on by Invincible_Tech

Pros Everything, Ice Cream Sand witch Rocks, resolution is great, screen is really wide and vivid.

    Cons Camera, average.

Summary "You will miss if u don't have it"

  • "Love everything but the battery life and reception"
    on by krazyk0424

Pros I just switched over from the original Droid X and find this phone to be super fast and love a lot of things about it.

Cons The battery life is absolutely horrible and so is the reception. For these two reasons I am really considering returning the phone.

Summary I used to have a decent signal in my house with my Droid X and on the Nexus I find I have to use the Wifi in the house just to access and download apps.

The battery life on the phone is extremely poor. I keep everything off with only Wifi on in my home (for the reason above) and find it needs to be charged every 4 hours or so with not a lot of usage.

I'm really disappointed. I had really hoped this phone would blow me away, but it's not.

I called Verizon and changed the Data settings on the phone, so now my reception is better and the battery is slightly better as well. I am not in a 4G area, to help with 3G data issues, go to Settings > More (under Wireless and Networks) > Mobile Networks > Check the box next to Data Roaming.

My extended battery should be here today so hopefully that will help the battery issue more.

  • "The Best Phone in the Market Today"
    on by gauts15

    Pros Screen
    Call Quality
    Hardware/Speed

Cons Battery Life (Depends on how you use it)

Summary I have played around with most of the top guns in the phone market today - Iphone 4S, Razr n so on. Galaxy Nexus is by far the best one. You have to see the screen to believe it; its gorgeous! The phone doesn't feel big as the edge width from the screen is minimal. Call quality is so good, I just realized how many words I would miss on my iPhone (not really, but this is definitely much better). Its Blazing fast!
You really have to be dig to find any flaws in this. The only things I could come up with is the battery life (about half a day). But then again I had my display brightness set to 90% and ran some heave Live Wallpapers apart from the regular browsing and media.
My Recommendation: GET IT NOW! You will not regret this (especially if you are switching from the iPhone)!

  • "It has ICS. And it's big."
    on by gopgoaway

Pros It's a good looking device. It has a nice screen. It will get updates first.

Cons The camera is incredibly average. ICS seems a bit dark and brooding.

Summary Why not just wait until the GSII gets the ICS update? Better camera, better camcorder, just as fast hardware (those with the exynos processor are likely faster). Once other stuff gets ICS, this phone only has the fact that it will get updates first going for it.

  • "Great phone, battery sucks, camera is spotty"
    on by itsJustSean

    Pros Everything, but...

Cons Battery life, camera, waiting for Verizon updates

Summary I would buy it again, but got a false sense of battery life. I keep a charger in my car, in two of my rooms and my work. It still is not enough. The camera is fast but have to take 3-4 pics to get one in focus. And Verizon updates take FOREVER.

    Updated on Apr 9, 2013

Since the most recent 4.2.2 release, the battery seems even worse.
