Pros: durable, speaker, games, texting, ease of use, camera/video, Wi-Fi capable, wi-fi direct, nfc, enterprise ready

    Cons: battery life, power management

Summary: "The answer is all of the above!

I can tell you that this device does it all by adding S Pen/WACOM and USB OTG functionality while boasting improvements to both hardware and software over the original Galaxy Note. The battery life under heavy usage will now last an entire work day!

PHONE: Used mainly as a speaker phone with note taking capabilities or multi-tasking of any other kind including the ability to view and join contacts to the current call or text a quick message based on your current call. Bluetooth enabled for privacy and hands-free with exceptional range and voice-command options. Large dialer perfect for driving or the visually impaired.

TABLET: With the Quad-Core and 2GB of RAM; enhanced video playback, gaming and photo editing is smooth and full featured. The ease-of-use for web browsing and navigation is increased with the enhanced S Pen which also acts like a mouse. The keyboard is large and easy to navigate with a number of input options already pre-loaded including improved handwriting recognition.

PC: When coupled with an OTG cable and AllShare Hub, your device acts as both PC and a WACOM Tablet. You can then connect a USB/BT wireless mouse and keyboard, external hard drive, card reader and even a DVD R/W. (Requires a powered USB hub). If you own a Samsung Smart TV, you can enable All Share and simply broadcast your phone's screen to the TV in HD without requiring an AllShare hub.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree. After having the original Note and the HTC One X, I have to say this by far has one of the best battery lives of any phone I've had. Even now looking at my phone, it's been on battery for roughly 10 hours with an amazing 3 hours and 20 minutes screen on time and I'm still at 38%. Battery life couldn't be better!

Battery life is excellent, not a con.

Wow! Really helpful review. I had not even heard of AllShare until your review. The ability to use a USB/OTG dongle is quite convenient. This is my next phone. I am getting one as soon as Verizon has it in stock. Why people buy an iPhone is beyond comprehension when there are far superior products like the Note 2. Thanks for the review!
