"The world in your hands- Best phone ever!!! period!"5.0 starson by shwinman
Pros: Brilliant screen
Battery that easily lasts a day and half with heavy usage
Jelly Bean is by far the best operating system released yet
Power of Google maps
Quad core processor
Doesn't feel plastic anymore
No more Itune
Cons: Few people may not like the big size. The power and volume buttons seem a bit flimsy. The camera could have been better specially indoors. Not an apple product and hence would not get the attention that it deserves from our dear CNET:(
Summary: Got the phone 2 days after its release, prior to that I was one of what you call "Fan-boys" but post the launch of the iPhone 5 ( BTW I was extremely keen on upgrading my iPhone 4s ) the disappointment was very evident. Did the engineers in apple sleep for a year ? instead of calling it the iPhone 5 they should have just called it the iPhone 4ss and to make things worse, POOF and Google maps no more.
So just thought I should let you all know what pushed me to look elsewhere. All that I always wished the next iPhone should have was there in the Galaxy note 2.
Lets talk about the screen 5.55 in of absolute bliss. As a matter of fact I've stopped using my I pad after getting the Note 2. Its the perfect size to view movies, photos and everything else at the same time it fits perfectly in my pockets, The phone is really thin, you would need to see it to believe it.
The processor is extremely snappy, great video recording and photos.
The Play store is getting better by the day, still has to match up with the apps from apple.
Overall trust me if you want a phone that can pretty much do anything you want it to do and do it brilliantly go for the NOTE 2
