Pros: Feels good in the hand, can be used one-handed, has so many features it is impossible to explore all of them. Use is intuitive. It is esthetically pleasing. Reading text in "normal" mode is a cinch. Cameras work perfectly. Phone sound is great.
Cons: People with small hands will have a problem using it one-handed.
Summary: I am one of those people who wanted a phone to be a phone. Always first in line for a new gadget (still have my original Palm), I stayed away from Swiss-knife devices, preferring to use the best device for as specific use. The Note 2 completely changed my attitude. It paired easily to my Acura TL's HandsFree, I synced it to Outlook 2010 and a variety of data sources within one hour of getting it, installed JuiceDefender to save battery life, had several text exchanges, checked email and voicemail, talked to a few friends, listened to a book, etc. All without opening up the User's Guide. I did stay up until 3 AM, "playing" with it, much to my wife's chagrin. After Palm, Windows smartphones, Blackberry 9700 Bold, this Android is by far the best device I ever used. Some charity will be very happy with all the stuff I am about to donate (iPAQ, Blackberry, Dash, Sony T650, Kindle, etc.). T-Mobile had a $300 cash back rebate and I am sure many great wills will be available within the near future. For the price, I don't think there is anything on the market today that can beat the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. It is a true "iPhone slayer."
