Summary: Let me first say that I had Verizon's iPhone 5 before this Note 2. I was afraid I would miss the iOS environment and the Apple App Store, however, this is not the case. I have had many phones over the past few years (iPhone 3G, Droid 3, Droid Razr Maxx, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5 to name a few) and I have to say this is the best phone I've ever had!
The main reason I kept sticking with Apple products was the disappointment with the lag of Android. So far (2 weeks in), I have had ZERO lag on the Note 2 (Verizon). I waited for the iPhone 5 and purchased it, but ultimately, I was very disappointed in the lack of improvements iOS has made over the last 5+ years. Apple used to be innovators and now it seems they are playing catch-up (especially in the features and screen size department).
In short, I am very pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend this phone to any iPhone users on the fence (not knowing whether to make the Android switch or not). If you take the leap...you will not regret your decision.
