"I hate it."
on by shannernannerPros Having trouble thinking of any
Cons Multiple errors, very small storage, dropped calls, does not work as it should at all, Swype keyboard is annoying, touch screen sometimes clicks on the thing next to what you are touching
Summary This was my first smartphone purchase and I wasn't sure what to look for. I did research it first and was looking forward to having it and have been sorely disappointed in it. I did enjoy having *a* smartphone but the malfunctions have been numerous.

"Worked Great at first"
on by ItsStephen02Pros Easy to use
Cons To many pointless apps that pretty much do that same thing installed that take up space. Major problem with charging phone. Even when phone is not plugged in a charger, it will still say its charging. Which runs out the battery even faster.
Summary Love the phone at first, by now I HATE this hunk of trash!

"Technical problems and incompetent tech support."
on by NFConstructionPros Looks like a good touch screen. Affordable.
Cons Intermittent problems reading SD card. Freezes randomly and requires restart. Biggest problem is that 3 months into ownership the battery will no longer charge, giving the error "Unable to charge non supported battery. See user manual."
Summary Has intermittent problems reading SD card. Freezes randomly. Biggest problem is that I've had it for 3 months (thus am unable to take it back to the store for a refund) and the battery will no longer charge, giving the error "Unable to charge non supported battery. See user manual." The user manual says nothing about this so I called tech support, they gave me the usual list of things to try- restart, take the battery out put it back in, perform factory reset. None of this worked so they had me send it in- phone, battery, and charger. Two weeks later I got my phone back with a paper stating that they had replaced a component, the software was updated, and that the problem was resolved. I immediately plugged it in, and got the exact same error! I called and after waiting on hold for 30 minutes for "advanced tech support" someone finally got on the line. After explaining the issue to them, and asking what my options were and why they would send me the phone back saying "problem resolved" if it had the exact same problem I sent it in for, the rep told me in an irritated tone told me my only option was to send the battery in, because the place they test the phones was a different facility than where they test the batteries and they could not possibly have known that the problem was the battery the first time I sent it in. Then I mentioned arbitration and he forwarded me to "executive customer relations" where the rep was much more polite, and offered to send me another battery but that they could not expedite shipping and it would take another week. I will never purchase another Samsung product again. Terrible experience.
