Pros Great 4G phone by Samsung! Powerful and quick. Fantastic display!
Cons None for the phone. Con is for AT&T in that it is spending so much time on the new iPhone 5, that as of Monday 2:15pm, AT&T still has a "3G" logo for the Samsung Galaxy 2 on it's smartphone page instead of the "4G" that the phone clearly is.
Pros Great screen, good speed, excellent browser. Thin is in. Nit as much frame as the oversize Razr, and a solid camera
Cons No zoom focus on Camera, on America's absolute worst network, and the ABSOLUTE worst audio quality from the headphone/mic jack, making music and mic quality horrendous (see Anandtech's breakdown of old Yamaha audio components used here)
Summary putting the ATT variant as a "top 5" demonstrates Cha's favortism to ATT. Why isn't the TMobile variant tested as the best variant of the GS2? The #2 network in call quality and data speeds should make the near replicate phone.have better performance than ATT's, no? Do CNET's reviews include other carriers?. If the reviews are just on the handset, then the review should reflect the Samsung Galaxy S2 and not single out just the ATT version. A review andcomparison of all of he Galaxy S2 versions on all carriers should have been evaluated and not just the ATT version.NOT resposible consumer reporting in my opinion.
Pros screen, battery, blah blah blah
Cons The phone does not yet have the ability to sync with some microsoft exchange servers and when i called tech support (at Samsung) I was told that they "are currently conducting an investigation and will let me know when they are finished". That doesn't rea
Summary The phone is great overall and i love the responsiveness (as compared to blackberry) but since the att version cannot connect to my microsoft exchange and i can't use for work i'll be returning it. Figure out your stuff, Samsung, before you release a product.
Pros No lagging, Super AMOLED Plus. Fantastic color touch screen, Touch Wiz, resizable app size on main screen, fast, no sluggish, battery life fantastic, 1080p video recording, 8PM camera, NFC, desgin looks so fantastic. texture on back of the battery cover,c
Cons nothing nothing nothing
Summary Fantastic android smartphone I ever have now
Pros Bright/clear screen, great dual-core performance, not heavy, thin.
Cons Maybe not fair to compare it to an actual digital camera but photo quality is not great but probably normal for a phone. Battery life could be better but seems to have improved with time, from 1-2 days to 2-3 days.
Summary Highly recommended and even more so now since it seems that it will received Android 4.0!
