"I'm a gadget guy. Don't give up your iPhone just yet."3.0 starson by jeffrey262
Pros: The display is beautiful even outdoors with direct sun exposure. The ability to change out the battery and add a sim card is a plus. Interface works well. Android keeps getting better. Options for user interface is endless
Cons: The one big characteristic that turned me off was the plastic feeling of the phone and AT&T did not inform me that their 4G network was not going live for another 2 weeks.
Summary: I really can't say too many negitive comments about the Samsung Galaxy 2 Skyrocket. I wish the phone would have felt solid in the hand, not like a $5 phone. Sometimes being a little heavier is a good thing. You grad the iPhone 4S in your hand and it feels like a piece of art work.
Once again, the display is outstanding. the user interface is very nice and has the ability to be customized to your preferences. Android OS keeps getting better. I would consider the phone to be a little large for most people. I have large hands so the phone works for me. However, my wife hated the size of it.
Even after AT&T went live in Charlotte, NC, the speeds they claim, never even came close. The fastest speeds I saw was 3 mps. That is nothing to write home about -- try again AT&T. I have tested Verizon MiFi hotspot using Verizon 4G LTE. If you want fast, go Verizon. Btw, I am a AT&T customer.
