Pros Smooth interface
Lots of customization abilities
Cons TouchWiz interface has crashed only once, but after that it worked flawlessly
Summary Besides some apps that Apple has, this phone can do everything my iTouch can do and moreAfter using this phone for a bit longer I have encountered 2 serious problems. One is that even though this has a 2100 mAH battery, the battery life is horrible. Its only been half a day and my phones already down to 10%. Additionally, the phone gets hot and I mean REALLY HOT. Using the Minimalistic Text app, I have found out that the GS3 gets up to 100.8 degrees F only with light use and with the multitasking empty. Other than these problems, I do love this phone and all of its features. I believe that these problems do not exist in all GS3's because there has been a lot of people that have not encountered these problems. I am going this weekend to get it replaced with another GS3, and I hope that it doesn't have these same problems.

Pros LED, Battery Life, Display, Speed, Customization Options
Cons S Voice needs work, and this phone is missing the genuine Swype keyboard; the Samsung replica is inferior and infuriating.
Summary I upgraded to this phone from the original Samsung Galaxy S II HSPA+ model (not the Skyrocket). Almost everything about this phone is an improvement...battery life has been unexpectedly good, and it sure seems to me that it charges faster than its predecessor which I like. CNET didn't appear to like the display on this phone, but again it's a step up from its predecessor and I think it's awesome. With the advances in display technology, I think any display differences among the top phones are hair-splitting, and not anything anyone would notice but a CNET nerd. As such, when deciding among phones these days, the screen really shouldn't be a factor. Moving on, this phone has nearly infinite customization options. I've had my phone for almost a week and I just now learned about 3 or 4 more things I can do with it while reading the CNET review. Being a phoneophile, it's not often that I don't find everything myself within a day or two. I really like being able to customize the lock screen apps and the ability to add a news ticker to it. The only real complaint I have about this phone is that the genuine Swype keyboard is missing and the Samsung iteration is not nearly as user friendly or accurate...but apparently you can download the real thing which I am going to try after I'm finished with this review. I messed around with S Voice just to try it and it was mediocre in its accuracy, but I know I won't use this feature much if at all. In summary, this is a fantastic phone at a great price. Now, I would recommend the Seidio Active case for this phone, it will protect the phone from drops without adding as much bulk as the Otterboxes do. In addition, the ZAGG InvisibleShield HD screen protectors are expensive, but very high quality and worth the money. While it's true that this phone has the scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass 2, I found with my last phone that the anti-fingerprint coating on Gorilla Glass will rub off with even moderate Swype texting, making the screen look like it's got a hole in it. I would highly recommend the ZAGG protectors.
Pros 1. Great all around phone
2. Screen size is perfect
3. Plenty of internal memory for apps
4. Very durable
Cons 1. Died without warning at 10 months.
2. Camera lens needs to be cleaned before use. Any smudge will cause it to not focus well.
3. Body feels a bit cheap
Summary This phone has been the best phone I have ever owned. I bought it in November of 2012 and have had zero issues until September 2013 when it suddenly died without warning. Went to a sprint store and they tore the phone down and saw absolutely no damage, dust, etc. Luckily I had 95% of my information on the SD card, but it is still a hassle to switch phones suddenly. One thing that would be nice is Samsung actually backing the product up quickly. I do not have the luxury of waiting 2-3 weeks to mail it in for warranty work. This is one thing IPhone has over Samsung. You can go to the store and they will fix it on the spot. This all being said the phone is great, but Samsung needs to start focusing on the long term durability of there products.
Pros Great paper weight, improvised ninja star, and pretend phone.
Cons Terrible frying pan... oh and phone!
Summary While it lasted it was excellent!... But for a great phone it should never be the subject of that sentence. Under no circumstances buy a Samsung Galaxy S3... For me it's going to be anything samsung for that matter... Looked down yesterday and there was a purple hue to my lcd in the corner and my touch wouldn't respond. Looking closer there was a spider web of cracks under the main glass. No drops no nothing. Before this had the Motorola Atrix and dropped that going 70+ mph on to the rumble strip. No cracks. Used the same protection (otterbox). Samsung has officially lost a customer and may be facing legal actions. Extremely unhappy phone is only 6 months old. Don't just take a single unhappy customers experience though see for yourself what they are hiding...
